About myself

I was born on Dezember 11th, 1968 in the beautiful medieval city of Lübeck at the Baltic Sea. In 1990, after graduating from school, I moved to Hamburg where I started working as a typotraph.

Three years later, I decided to study economics / markting in Kiel, where I met my girlfriend Ariane Boinot, a sokrates student from Brest / France. In the same time me and Tim Sattler started producing a radioshow called "fade no more" for "alternative music" on a public access channel in Lübeck.

One year later, after having interviewed bands like OASIS, PULP, VERVE, ADORABLE and other big names of the british and american music scene, we published a music magazine called fade. Two years later, Tim convinced me, that I should become active in a students' organisation called AEGEE.

So I signed my membership of AEGEE-Kiel and became president of our antenna. Since then I am a board member and the "lifetime" responsible for PR and sponsoring (incl. nice deals with PERNOD and SCHWEPPES). I am boardmember (support) of the "Public Relations Working Group" (PRWG) of AEGEE-Europe and foundation member of the AEGEE-Contact Lübeck.

In 1997 I started working at the internet provider COMCITY where I wrote my "Diplomarbeit" with the subject "Electronic Commerce". Today I am responsible for online AdSales at www.mobile.de (marketleader of all german car trading eCommerce-marketplaces).

Besides this I am one of three DJ's of the BIG80ies-parties presented by VH-1. Every second friday e.g. at the MAX musichall in Kiel.
